How To Become A Christian

1.) Stop trusting in yourself and what you can do and start trusting in Jesus and what He has already done. (Proverbs 28:26, Proverbs 3:5-6)

2.) Tell Jesus that you are sorry for your sins and ask him to come live inside of you. (1 John 1:9, Rev. 3:20)

3.) Ask Jesus to become your Savior and Lord. (Which means being #1 in your life)

4.) Repent and turn away from everything God and the Bible says is sin. (Acts 3:19)

5.) Totally commit yourself to obeying Christ. (Matt. 16:25)

If you have never accepted Christ into your life or you desire to make a new commitment to God, please pray the following prayer, or one similar in your own words.

Lord Jesus,

I want to stop trusting in myself and what I can do and start trusting in you and what you have already done when you died on the Cross.

I know that I am a sinner and I am sorry for my sins.

Please forgive me and be my Lord. Amen!
